Lisbon is definetely a city to have a stop! I did not stop there this time, but I recommend it and its a must to visit Sintra, its magical!
|Stormy night, lucky I was two pitch away from this spot!|
I have stayed twice in this campground, Parque Campismo Monsanto and it is open all year around and you can find it here N 38°43'28" W 09°12'29" . As it is the capital city, its more pricy, closer to 30 e a night. Good bus connection to the center.
Did you know that Lisbon is one of the oldest cities in the world and the oldest in Western Europe?
Bairro Alto, beautiful to walk around, eat a good meal and have a drink (or two :P )!
Castelo de Pena, Pena Palace is in Sintra, but you can see it in a clear day even from Lisbon. It is a good example of 19th-century romanticism in the world and place is also part of Unesco and Seven Wonders of Portugal.
